Eddie Ramirez remained unbeaten with a hard-fought 10-round split decision over Erick Bone in a 143-pound bout at Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas.

Former world champion Brandon Rios returned from a 19-month layoff and scored a seventh-round KO of Aaron Herrera in a 147-pound bout.

Mario Barrios remained unbeaten with a seventh-round knockout of Jose Luis Rodriguez in a 140-pound battle.

Jose Miguel Borrego scored a fourth-round TKO of Kevin Watts in a matchup of 140-pound prospects.

Unbeaten featherweight contender Jorge Lara (29-0-2, 21 KOs) of Guadalajara, Mexico opened the PBC on FS1 card with a third-round knockout of fellow Mexican Mario Briones (28-6-2, 22 KOs) on May 20, 2017 from Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, Texas.

Top-rising super middleweight contender David Benavidez put an exclamation point on an awesome 168-pound title eliminator bout with Rogelio "Porky” Medina via an eighth-round TKO stoppage on PBC on FS1 on May 20, 2017 from Laredo Energy Arena in Laredo, Texas.

Thousands of fans showed up at the annual Box Fan Expo in Las Vegas on May 6, 2017, and Premier Boxing Champions was there to get in on the action. Fans waited in long lines to get autographs from and take pictures with big names like Daniel Jacobs, Shawn Porter, Abner Mares, Rances Barthelemy and more at the PBC booth.
