Errol Spence Jr.'s appearance during Cowboys game on FOX reaches more than 30 million viewers

Welterweight champion and Dallas native mingles with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones ahead of his March 16 FOX PPV bout against Mikey Garcia at AT&T Stadium.

The Errol Spence Jr. promo inside the FOX Thanksgiving NFL game between Dallas and Washington yesterday was seen by 30.8 million people, according to Nielsen ratings research. The in-game promo, which featured the IBF welterweight champion with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones having a conversation on the field before the game, was broadcast over the FOX network, FOX Deportes and FOX streaming services.

Dallas defeated Washington 31-23 and it delivered an estimated 30,833,000 viewers across the FOX, FOX Deportes and FOX Sports streaming platforms.

“It shows the wide reach and exposure that FOX can deliver for PBC boxers across its many platforms. It also demonstrates the importance of having a partner that is willing to use its assets to promote upcoming PBC matches on the network,” said Tim Smith, VP of Communications for Haymon Sports.

The FOX broadcast averaged 30,475,000 viewers (12.5 HH RTG) which projects to be the most-watched NFL telecast of the season on any network. 

Spence returns to AT&T Stadium on March 16 when he faces four-division world champion Mikey Garcia on a PBC on FOX PPV.
