Mares (28-1-1, 15 KOs) and Reyes (18-4-0, 5 KOs) will appear on the card, along with Keith Thurman-Robert Guerrero and Adrien Broner-John Molina Jr. The Mares bout will be televised live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on either the NBC broadcast between 8:30 and 11 p.m. EDT, or on the NBC Sports Network telecast starting at 11 p.m.

Coming off wins against Jonathan Oquendo and Jose Ramirez, Mares, 29, took decisions over Joseph Agbeko and Eric Morel for his 118 and 122 titles, respectively, and earned a ninth-round TKO against Daniel Ponce De Leon for the 126 championship.

Reyes, also 29, makes his United States debut in the fight. He was a member of the Mexican Olympic team at the 2008 Games in Beijing.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to fight in Las Vegas on March 7,” Mares said. “This is a fantastic card that is great for me and great for the sport of boxing. I look forward to putting on a show for the fans and winning impressively.”
