ESPN, ABC to begin airing PBC fights in July

Premier Boxing Champions is expanding its reach on television.

ESPN ABC Premier Boxing Champions

PBC will have fights on ESPN and ABC beginning July 11.

In a new multi-year agreement, ESPN will air 12 two-hour PBC shows in prime time starting July 11 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.  Additionally, the PBC will air on ABC on Saturday afternoon, with details to follow. ESPN will no longer air its Friday Night Fights, with the last show May 22 with the finals of the Boxcino 2015 tournament.  

The announcing team for the PBC on ESPN will include Joe Tessitore calling the blow-by-blow and Teddy Atlas serving as the analyst.

The broadcasts will be simulcast in Spanish on ESPN Deportes under the Noche de Combates banner. PBC on ESPN will also be available to stream on WatchESPN, while undercard fights and weigh-ins will be shown on ESPN3. The first fight card will be announced at a later date.
