Two years ago today, 126-lb stars Leo Santa Cruz and Abner Mares finally met in the ring after years of build-up, slugging it out in the PBC 2015 Fight of the Year, which had Los Angeles bragging rights on the line. The two stood toe-to-toe for 12 rounds, with Santa Cruz taking home a hard-earned Majority Decision victory.
